6 By exporting a form and saving it locally, you can move a form to another {{formcycle case="dat"/}} system.
7 In order to export the current form version, click the corresponding button in the [[form menu>>doc:Formcycle.UserInterface.MyForms.WebHome||anchor="form_menu"]].

9 Note that certain issues may occur when importing the form on another {{formcycle/}} system with a version below 6.2.0. This applies mainly settings related to [[permissions>>doc:Formcycle.UserInterface.UserSettings.UserGroups.WebHome]], [[inboxes>>doc:Formcycle.UserInterface.Inboxes.WebHome]], [[data base connections>>doc:Formcycle.UserInterface.Data.DBConnections.WebHome]] and [[{{fserver numer="plural"/}}>>doc:Formcycle.SystemSettings.UserInterface.FrontendServer.WebHome]], for example when a form specifies a certain inbox that is not available on another system. When using the name and IDs, forms can be imported without any issues.

20 The extended settings are only available if the form has dependencies. These dependencies may be [[form>>doc:Formcycle.UserInterface.MyForms.Files.WebHome]] or [[client files>>doc:Formcycle.UserInterface.FilesAndTemplates.Files.WebHome]] that are used in the [[workflow>>doc:Formcycle.Designer.Workflow.WebHome]], [[templates>>doc:Formcycle.UserInterface.FilesAndTemplates.WebHome||anchor="templates"]] that are used in the [[workflow>>doc:Formcycle.Designer.Workflow.WebHome]], [[double opt in settings>>doc:Formcycle.UserInterface.MyForms.DoubleOptIn.WebHome]] or directly inside the form as well as [[data sources>>doc:Formcycle.UserInterface.Data.Sources.WebHome]] that may be used for [[prefilling selection elements>>doc:Formcycle.Designer.Form.FormElements.Selection]]. Individual dependencies may be selected or deselected for the export.
